There are six wonderful receptionists at our hospital to help run a 14 hour work day.  They will greet you & check your pet in when you arrive, and check you out after your visit.  They are here to answer any of your questions or if needed, direct it to a doctor.  If at any time you need additional assistance such as scheduling an appointment for the hospital or grooming, order pet food in special sizes/quantities, need to pick up medication refills, or simply need them to call you a cab, please let them know.  We are all here as a team to help care for you and your pet's well being.

Veterinary Technicians

There are ten excellent veterinary technicians here who work very closely with the doctors on a daily basis, assisting them during routine visits, surgical/dental procedures and medical treatments. A veterinary technician will accompany you into an exam room during your pet's medical visit, take your pet's x-rays, run in-hospital bloodwork and help prepare your pet's medications.  They are here to answer any of your questions or if needed, direct it to a doctor.  We are all here to help care for you and your pet's well being.

"Clarence" Our Hospital No Description resized to 300 pixels wideBird

"Clarence" joined our hospital in January 2002.  He is a former resident of New York City until he preferred a calmer pace of life and decided to move to Hoboken, NJ.  He is a yellow nape amazon in his mid twenties.  His breed will easily live up to 90 years.

Clarence DOES BITE and our staff ask that if you visit our hospital, please do not place your fingers  in the cage or feed him, as he is allergic to some foods.

You are welcome to speak to him from a distance as he will respond by mimicking you or create his own sounds.

He enjoys listening to opera and we have heard him sing parts of "I left my heart in San Francisico".  We enjoy having Clarence as part of our staff, he brings entertainment to everyone.
